Easter celebrations begin with the Easter Bunny Arrival Party on March 13th during The Wiregrass Ranchers Kids Club event in Center Court.

Christmas tree recycling locations

Land O' Lakes, Florida -- If your home was filled the sweet aroma of pine needles from your real Christmas tree, then listen up! You will eventually have to bid farewell to the fresh green smell and toss the tree.

Now, the question you may ask, "Where do I recycle my tree?"

Well, if you have a Christmas tree with a root ball, you are urged to plant it! If not, then recycle it at one of the Pasco County parks.

Drop dates last from Dec. 26 through Jan. 6, 2013.

There is no charge to recycle at any of the following locations:

Dade City, Florida -- With Thanksgiving behind us, it's time to set our sights on Christmas events. On Dec. 8, Downtown Dade City will hold it Holiday Market for residents to satisfy their shopping needs and the City needs vendors.

The event features a wide array of shops and vendors for attendees to pick up those special handmade presents for their family and friends.

Quit smoking in Zephyrhills

Zephyrhills, Florida -- There's a chance for you to quit smoking. Florida Hospital Zephyrhills is partnering with Gulfcoast North Area Health Education Center to offer free help to quit tobacco for good.

The seminar is open to anyone in the community and will give you free nicotine replacement therapy including patches, lozenges or gum.

The seminar is on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 2 - 4:30 p.m. at the hospital.

County Offices to close for In-Service Training Day

New Port Richey, FL– The majority of Pasco County Government offices will be closed to the public on Monday, October 8, 2012, for an In-Service Training Day, which will allow staff to receive necessary training throughout the day.

In addition to office closures, Pasco County Public Transportation will not run their regular bus routes.

Government offices will reopen to the public on Tuesday, October 9.

Antique Faire coming to Dade City

Dade City, Florida -- Historic Dade City will host their semi-annual Antique Faire in Historic Downtown on Sept. 29 and 30.

Residents can spend the day browsing through stores' fine antiques and collectibles that are making an appearance for the weekend.

The event will take place Saturday, Sept. 29 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m and Sunday, Sept. 30 in Agnes Lamb Park & the North 8th Street Parking Lots(Corner of Meridian Avenue and 8th Street).
