Mom urges fugitive siblings to turn themselves in
News

PASCO COUNTY Florida -- The manhunt for a family of fugitives continued Friday.

Police in Florida and Georgia, as well as the FBI, are looking for Ryan Dougherty, Lee Grace Dougherty, and Dylan Stanley.

On Friday, the mother of the three siblings urged them to turn themselves in.

Barbara Bell told the Associated Press that she loves her three children and wants them to surrender before anyone gets hurt.

Investigators say the triotried to kill a Zephyrhills police officer during a high-speed chase, then robbed a bank in Georgia about six hours later on Tuesday.

Detectives say Ryan Dougherty texted his mom around that time telling her "at some point we all have to die."

Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco says to their knowledge, the three aren't communicating with anyone at this point.

He continues to caution they have an arsenal of high-powered weapons and are considered extremely dangerous.

"They are somewhere in the southeastern United States, they may be even further, but we have to make sure that we bring them to justice," Nocco said Friday afternoon,  "because they've already proven that they will cause violence and harm to anybody possible, so we have to do everything possible to bring them in."

On Friday, Pasco County deputies issued arrest warrants for Ryan for failing to register as a sex offender and stealing his girlfriend's car.

New billboards with pictures of all three went up outside the state of Florida on Friday, according to the FBI.

They were last seen driving a white Subaru Impreza, with New York license plates, tag number FBE5900.

Anyone with information is urged to call local law enforcement.
