Dade City, Florida -- St. Leo University and the Pasco County Sheriff's office teamed up to help some families get some much-needed furniture.
The college had 25 dorm rooms filled with campus furnishings that they needed to move out.
Corporal Mary Guyer oversaw the delivery of the furniture to 16 needy families in the Dade Oaks housing area of Dade City. Each furniture set includes a bed, night stand, kitchen table and an armoire.

The Pasco deputy couldn't deliver the furniture all by herself, so she enlisted the help of inmates from the detention center.
