Dade City Wild Things to hold summer camp

Dade City, Florida -- It's camp time again at Dade City's Wild Things. This year's camp will be on July 17, 18 and 19 for the three day session and on July 18 for the one-day session.

At camp, the opportunity exists to learn about nature, science and the animal kingdom while hiking through the zoo, exploring behind the scenes and interacting with our ambassador animals. Adventure camps include animal encounters, keeper talks, educational shows, games, crafts and more.

The cost for the 3-day camp is $165 per child and for the single day $65 per child. This includes a zoo camp T-shirt, lunch and snacks and a CD with photo's highlighting everyone's activities.

We also offer special Pre-K Camps just for 3 to 5 year olds. These camps are 1.5 to 2 hours long and cost $20.00 per child.

Dade City's Wild Things is a 22-acre zoo located in the heart of Pasco County in historical Dade City, Florida. We pride ourselves on providing a natural botanical garden landscape environment for the animals in our facility.

We can be reached at 352-567-9453 or our website at www.dadecityswildthings.com.
