Pasco County, Florida -- Enjoy a night of family fun and delicious food at the Third Annual Taste of Pasco fundraiser held by Leadership Pasco on Saturday, May 11 at the Rotary Pavilion at the Concourse.

The Taste of Pasco takes place from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at 15323 State Road 52 in Land O’Lakes, and will help NAMI Pasco, a local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, furnish its new base of operations in Land O’ Lakes. NAMI Pasco recently held an open house to showcase the building to the public.

Pasco County, Florida - Are you creative? Do you write prose or poetry? Do you paint, draw, or take photographs? 

Then show off your creativity by submitting your original art, writing, and photography to Pasco County's First Annual Digital Art & Literary Magazine. 

Submissions are open to all Pasco County staff and students K-12.

Celebrate culture at Chasco Fiesta

New Port Richey, Florida -- Chasco Fiesta is one of the largest events in Pasco County, and it returns April 5.

Friday, April 5 through Saturday, April 13 the festival will be held along the banks of the beautiful Pithlachascotee River in downtown New Port Richey. The event originally began as a fundraiser for the local library in 1922 and has been held continuously since 1947.

The festival, which is loosely based on a story about Native Americans, is highlighted by a Native American festival to be held from April 5 through April 7.

8th annual Suncoast Arts Festival winners announced

Wesley Chapel, Florida -- The Suncoast Arts Fest 2013 was held at the Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel in mid-January.

More than 100 fine artists and craftsmen made the premier art event the finest in Pasco County. Each year, proceeds from the family-friendly event benefits Art for Kids

PTEC campuses host regional SkillsUSA competition this week

PTEC campuses host regional SkillsUSA competition this week

More than 500 students from Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties are expected to compete in the two-day SkillsUSA regional competition Feb. 6 - 7 at pTEC, Clearwater and St. Petersburg.

Students will compete in numerous categories including automotive service technology, cosmetology, welding, photography, and plumbing.

Next Generation Ballet (NGB) student William Dugan, of Pasco County, has been selected to compete in one of the world’s most prestigious dance competitions – the Prix de Lausanne in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Nearly 300 young dancers auditioned and out of the 84 candidates chosen to compete, 16-year-old Dugan is one of just 10 selected from the United States.

Dade City, Florida -- The 16th annual Kumquat Festival is quickly approaching! The Festival will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, in downtown Dade City, centered around Pasco County’s iconic historic courthouse.

Over 40,000 attendees including Florida residents from Tampa Bay and surrounding counties, winter residents, tourists and “day trippers” will enjoy a day of fun, shopping and entertainment.

There is no charge to attend the Festival, and free shuttles from satellite parking areas are available.
