Man runs pantless a block from 2 schools, police department

Zephyrhills, Fla. -- A Michigan man was arrested Sunday after he was seen running around without pants a block from two schools.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, an officer was called to the area of 8th Street and Henry Drive after witnesses saw 49-year-old Jeffrey Scott Oklad running down a dirt path.

When the officer arrived he found Oklad laying in a parking lot completely nude from the waist down.

Oklad was arrested and charged with exposure of sexual organs.

Search is on for Mr. & Miss Pioneer Pageant contestants

Dade City, Fla. -- The Mr. and Miss Pioneer Pageant will be held on Saturday, March 24 and the search is one for this potential year's kings and queens.

The event will be held in the Dan Cannon Auditorium Located at Pasco County Fair Grounds, located at 36722 Hwy 52, Dade City.

The requirements are listed below:

1. Contestant must be between the age of 1 year old and 18 years old, as of March 24, 2012

Spivey-Brown Throwdown to help Markee Lyles

Zephyrhills, Fla. -- The band Spivey Brown will hold a music event Saturday, March 3 in Pasco to help raise money for Leukemia patient Markee Lyles.

The 5-year-old girl is undergoing treatment to save her life.

Sarasota hunter's body found in Pasco swamp

Dade City, Florida -- Pasco deputies are investing the death of a hunter after his body was found in Green Swamp West.

56-year-old David Smowton of Sarasota reportedly went out on a small-game hunting trip on Saturday, but never returned.

After his brother reported him missing on Monday, deputies and officers with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission conducted an extensive search of the 34,000+ acre swamp. An FWC officer driving an ATV eventually found Smowton's body, about a mile from his vehicle.
